This is a free, ticketed performance which involves the audience walking throughout the space of The Curve gallery. Audience members can sit on sofas or on the carpet in the Reading Room at the far end of the space.

Join interdisciplinary artist tyroneisaacstuart and award-winning poet Victoria Adukwei Bulley as they add their contributions to the chorus of Julianknxx’s exhibition. They'll guide audiences through an evening of live dance, music and poetry readings in The Curve.

Performers
Victoria Adukwei Bulley is a poet, writer, and artist. Her work has appeared widely in publications including The White Review, the London Review of Books, and The Atlantic, and she has held residencies internationally in the US, Brazil and the V&A Museum in London. Victoria is the winner of an Eric Gregory Award, and her critically acclaimed debut poetry book, QUIET, won the Folio Prize for Poetry, the John Pollard International Poetry Prize, and was shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize. QUIET is published by Faber & Faber in the UK and in North America by Knopf, Penguin Random House.
tyroneisaacstuart is an East London born and based interdisciplinary artist. He works with dance, music and theology as materials for digital and live spaces. He regularly collaborates with Julianknxx and is one of the participants in Julianknxx’s 2023 film work, Chorus in Rememory of Flight. tyroneisaacstuart’s works often draw on his training as a Jazz musician and Street/Contemporary dancer to make conceptual works focused on positively contributing to the imagination of artistry in the UK.

The Curve is located on Level G and can be found at the bottom of the Silk Street entrance ramp, opposite the Barbican Shop.

The Barbican is widely accessible by bus, tube, train and by foot or bicycle. Plan your journey and find more route information in ‘Your Visit’ or book your car parking space in advance.
We’ve plenty of places for you to relax and replenish, from coffee and cake to wood-fired pizzas and full pre-theatre menus
Assistance dogs are welcome. If you prefer, you may leave your dog with a member of the gallery staff during your visit.

Enhanced security measures are currently in place at the Barbican.
As part of these measures only one reasonably-sized bag (no larger than 32cm L x 18cm W x 22cm H) per person may be taken inside our venues and all bags may be searched by a member of our team.
We ask that, where possible, visitors avoid bringing large bags to the Centre. If you do need to check bags into our free cloakrooms, we suggest arriving early. All bags deposited will be subject to search and random bag searches are also in operation.
