Biographies
Caroline Walker (b. 1982) is a Scottish-born artist, based in Dunfermline. Her paintings reveal the diverse social, cultural and economic experiences of women living in contemporary society. Institutional solo exhibitions include those at K11, Shanghai (2022); KM21, The Hague (2021); MAC, Birmingham (2021) and Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge (2018). She is represented by Stephen Friedman Gallery; GRIMM, Amsterdam / New York / London and Ingleby Gallery, Edinburgh.
Olga Ravn (b. 1986) is one of Denmark’s most celebrated contemporary authors. Her novel The Employees, translated by Martin Aitken, was nominated for numerous prizes, including the International Booker Prize and the inaugural Ursula K. Le Guin Prize for Fiction. My Work, originally published in Danish as Mit arbejde, won the Politiken Literature Prize in 2020. She lives in Copenhagen.
