The work of the Women’s Prize Trust is underpinned by a mission to change the world through books by women, opening up pathways into reading and writing for the storytellers and booklovers of tomorrow, and championing equity of opportunity for all women. The registered charity behind the Women’s Prize for Fiction – the greatest international celebration of women’s creativity for three decades – the Trust is developing a global community of writers and readers with increased skills and knowledge, reducing social isolation and enhancing mental health and wellbeing. The charity has recently announced major plans to launch the Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction to champion exceptional women’s narrative non-fiction on a global stage.
