As part of his Age of Many Posts project, Associate Artist, Abbas Zahedi, has created this open studio on Level G.
Outpost Studio has been developed collaboratively with the Barbican’s Young Visual Arts Group and functions as a space for young artists to meet for regular workshops and feedback sessions with Zahedi. Collaborating with teams across the Barbican, including Creative Learning and Cinema, and communities local to the Centre, Zahedi seeks to explore our current ‘post’ crisis world through ongoing conversations with multiple individuals, illuminating the exhibition, artists and artworks in new and exciting ways.
This has been programmed in response to Postwar Modern: New Art in Britain 1945-1965.
