Justino (Regis Myrupu), a native Desana works as a security guard at the cargo port in Manaus, an industrial city. Justino lives with his daughter Vanessa (Rosa Peixoto), who is soon to leave in order to study medicine in Brasilia.
Prior to Vanessa's departure, Justino develops a stubborn fever and at night is repeatedly approached by a mysterious creature.
We follow his experience of being a man who is working to live in a space that vastly differs to that of his home which he left almost 20 years ago.
The Fever explores what it means to not exist fully in any space.
