Tickets available to book in person at the Hall Ticket Desk, Barbican Level -1
Ludovic Bource’s Oscar®, BAFTA and Golden Globe-winning soundtrack is brought to life by the BBC Symphony Orchestra in a screening with live music to headline the Saturday night of Sound Unbound.
At the height of his fame, suave silent film star, George Valentin (Jean Dujardin), gives young dancer Peppy Miller (Berenice Bejo) her Hollywood break. But sound soon takes over the industry, and while his young protégé adapts to ‘the talkies’, Valentin gets left behind.
The score forming an integral part of the storytelling, this is a rare chance to hear the captivating soundtrack alongside the film on a big screen – and it's free.
A limited number of tickets for The Artist will be available to collect from our festival hubs at Charterhouse Square and Barbican Level -1 from 12 noon onwards. But don't worry if you can't get one then - there will be more released at Barbican Level -1 box office at 6.30pm.
