Barbican Young Poets & Headway East reading

a group sit round an artisit studio table in discussion with one another. It is the Barbican Young Poets and the memebers of Headway East London working on their poetry

Come and celebrate with Headway East London as they read their poetry and writings created during workshops with our Barbican Young Poets

Over the past fortnight, members of Headway East London, a charity supporting people affected by brain injury have been writing about dreams, home, memories and the spaces in-between inspired by the Daria Marting: Tonights the World exhibition. To help them with their work and the creative process three of our Barbican Young Poets, Zahrah Sheikh, Annie Hayter and Tice Cin, met and workshopped with the group.  Their work looks at themes such as confabulation, heritage, exile and more.
