We're delighted to welcome director Harry Wootliff to introduce her new film.
Elena (Laia Costa), 35, and Jake (Josh O'Connor), 26, meet by chance on New Years Eve, fighting for the same taxi. But, instead of going their separate ways after a shared ride, they start a passionate relationship. Within weeks they are living together, and not long after they talk about starting a family.
But, as the seasons pass, reality catches up with them. Falling in love was the easy part, but can they remain in love when life doesn’t give them everything they hoped for? This unconventional romance of endurance was nominated in the First Feature category at 2018's BFI London Film Festival.

Harry Wootliff was BAFTA-nominated for her debut short film, Nits, which was selected for Cannes Directors’ Fortnight in 2005. Her second short, Trip, followed in 2009, and was selected for the Berlinale as well as more than 30 other festivals worldwide. With her debut feature film, Only You, Wootliff affirms this early promise and offers an original, moving and vibrant take on the modern love story, featuring stellar performances by two rising stars in current European film.
Jessica Hepburn is founder and co-director of Fertility Fest. Over the past few years, she has become one of the UK’s leading patient voices on fertility, infertility and assisted conception and is the author of two books The Pursuit of Motherhood (2014) and 21 Miles: Swimming in search of the meaning of motherhood (May 2018). Jessica is the host of the Q&A stage at the Fertility Show in London and Manchester, has been a trustee of the national charity Fertility Network UK, a patient adviser to the HFEA (the government’s regulator of fertility treatment) and is a member of the Fertility Education Initiative, chaired by Professor Adam Balen. In 2016, following her ten year tenure as Executive Director of the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith. she founded Fertility Fest, the world's first arts festival dedicated to fertility, infertility, modern families and the science of making babies.

Access
Cinemas 2 & 3 are located at Beech Street, a short walk from the Barbican Centre’s main Silk Street entrance. There are a couple of steep, dropped kerbs and an incline to negotiate between the two sites. Level access from Beech Street.
Mobility
Each auditorium has three permanent wheelchair spaces (two in the third row and one in the front row) and 153 fixed seats with capacity for a further three spaces in the front row. Access to each auditorium is up a ramp. There are also a number of seats with step-free access.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs may be taken into the cinema – please tell us when booking to ensure your seat has enough space. If you prefer, you may leave your dog with a member of the foyer staff during the performance.
Hearing facility
An infrared system for hard of hearing customers is provided in each auditorium; headsets or neck loops can be collected from foyer staff. The ticket desk counter is fitted with an induction loop.
