Milton Court Concert Hall
This state-of-the-art, 608-seat concert hall is the perfect venue for classical and contemporary music performances whether solo, chamber ensemble, choral, chamber orchestral or jazz.
Boasting design from Arup Acoustics, it offers multifunctional, flexible platform configurations, adjustable acoustics and has its own in-house piano and electric organ, plus a wealth of sound and lighting equipment.
Milton Court Concert Hall is owned by the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and stages performances that are part of the Barbican’s Music programme, as well as those by Guildhall School students and alumni - part of the unique Guildhall School/Barbican partnership delivering world-class arts and learning.

Detailed specs
The hire fee for Milton Court Concert Hall is £3250 + VAT for the 2024/25 season.
The straight hire fee is designed to accommodate a non-amplified evening concert with access from 2pm. Earlier access will incur an additional charge. For further details about what your hire fee includes, please see the Promoter Notes in the download section to the right.
Technical costs for amplified concerts are additional and should be discussed with your Production Manager.
Milton Court Concert Hall is also suitable for recording sessions at certain times of the year. Please contact us for more information.

The Milton Court Concert hall standard configuration is a 8m or 10.5m deep stage, this can be varied and the sizes are as follows. Please be aware extra cost and time for set up will need to be considered when using the 12.3m stage size.

Stage depth: 10.5m (standard larger ensemble configuration) capacity 546 seats (62 seats / first 3 rows offsale)

Milton Court has a maximum capacity of 608. This is comprised of two levels, Stalls and Circle, and includes choir seats which are situated behind the stage.
The use of the Barbican’s Box Office is included in your hire fee and all tickets for your event must be issued through the Barbican.
Once you have booked your concert date, you will need to complete a box office set up form with all your ticketing information. Pricing plans can be flexible, so please discuss your requirements with us, as we can advise on available options.

We are within walking distance from a number of London Underground stations, the closest being Barbican, Old Street, St Paul’s and Moorgate. The nearest train stations are Liverpool Street and Farringdon. Bus Route 153 runs directly past the Barbican along Chiswell Street
