Hit Man (15) (AD)

A man with slicked hair and glasses looks confused, standing on the street.

Richard Linklater of Dazed and Confused fame tells the almost-true story of a nerdy professor's transformation into a slick undercover agent, played hilariously by co-writer Glen Powell.

Gary Johnson is as sliced white bread as they come. Even his students laugh at him. Being interested in tech, he helps out the police on the audio visual side of undercover assassination attempt busts. When an agent doesn't show for a job, Johnson (played by Anyone But You heart-throb Glen Powell) is forced to take his place.

Here, Johnson finds a hidden passion and flare for disguise- he will transform in to the dream hit man for any client, until he meets Maddy Masters (Adria Arjona).

A hilarious yet thrilling telling of an outrageous 2001 news story, Hit Man is a high adrenaline ride into love, crime and justice, posing serious questions about when the law is fighting for justice, and when against it.
