Cairokee

Cairokee standing facing each other, with spotlights on their faces

The trailblazing Egyptian rock band debut new music and perform their classic anthems as part of their sold out European tour.

Infamous for their trailblazing sounds, Egyptian rock/pop band Cairokee have become an international driving force with infectious music and uplifting lyrics.

A word play between Karaoke and Cairo, their evolving sound has become an innate reflection of their surroundings and articulate the many elements of contemporary Egyptian society that drive their generation. Making the poignant decision to write songs in their mother tongue they have become one of the most iconic bands from the Arabic speaking world.

Founded in 2003, the five-piece comprises Amir Eid (vocals), Tamer Hashem (drums), Sherif Hawary (guitar), Adam El-Alfy (bass) and Sherif Mostafa (keys). They will be debuting new material across their sold out European tour, as well as performing some of their classic songs.
