Learn more about award-winning hip-hop dance theatre company Boy Blue and their new show Cycles at this free talk.

Boy Blue have long been known for leading the way in dance. Discover more about their new Barbican commission and world premiere Cycles.

Hear from Composer / Co-Artistic Director Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante and Nathaniel SB Impraim-Jones, Rehearsal Director of Cycles. They'll be joined by Kurtyswift, Co-founder of Homebros Ent. and long-time Boy Blue Collaborator. They'll be discussing Boy Blue's creative mission and the power and potential of hip-hop. Learn more about the themes of show, focused on change and the beauty of perpetual motion.

Co-founded with Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy in 2001, the company earned critical acclaim and Olivier Awards for their work. They have wowed audiences from New York to Taiwan and recently co-created the smash hit Free Your Mind.

This talk is offered to Barbican Members, Patrons and Young Barbican Members only. You are welcome to bring a guest, they must have their own ticket.

The talk will be from approx 6-7pm, before the evening's performance. Please note that tickets to Boy Blue: Cycles must be purchased separately.
